This is the candle I’d light when the house is full of people.
It smells like Thanksgiving before anyone actually sits down to eat — warm apple, cinnamon and pumpkin drifting through the house while people are talking in the kitchen, someone’s opening the oven, and the front door keeps opening as everyone arrives.
Once it’s burning, the apple really comes forward. To me, it smells less like a candle labeled “apple pumpkin” and more like warm apple crisp — cozy, familiar and unmistakably fall.
And this one has some muscle. It doesn’t politely sit in the corner waiting for you to notice it. It fills the room. 😂
THE BURN TEST
Price: $12.88 · 14.5 oz
Cold: Crisp apple first, followed by cinnamon and pumpkin
Burning: Warm apple crisp — baked apple, cinnamon and a little pumpkin warmth
Throw: Strong — fills the room and reaches into adjoining spaces
Feels Like: Thanksgiving at a house full of people — something baking in the kitchen, the front door opening, and everyone arriving hungry
Best For: Thanksgiving, family gatherings, holiday entertaining, or anytime you need one candle to hold its own in a busy house
Perfect Pairing: An apple-rum toddy + Thanksgiving dinner cooking in the kitchen
WHY I LOVE IT
This candle knows exactly what it is. Apple is the star. If you’re looking for a fall candle where apple doesn’t disappear behind pumpkin and spice, this is the one I’d choose.
It also has some serious reach. It created a cozy atmosphere quickly and carried beyond the room, which makes it especially useful when you’re entertaining. And despite being one of the stronger candles I tested, I specifically noted that it was not headache-y.
I also love a loud wood wick, and this one delivers. 😂
ONE THING TO KNOW
I did notice some tunneling and darkening/soot around the edge of the jar during my test. I didn’t see smoke hanging in the room, but it’s something I’d keep an eye on during longer burns.
🔥 BURN WORTHY VERDICT
Absolutely. Best Apple-Forward Candle — and my pick for a house full of people.
If what you want is a home that smells like warm apple crisp and Thanksgiving has just arrived, this is your candle.
